PSAT/Pre-ACT Day coming on Wednesday, October 16th. Special Bell Schedule follows on Thursday, October 17th

Wednesday, October 16th is a unique day at DPHS as our 10th and 11th grade students will be taking the Pre-ACT (10th Grade) and PSAT (11th grade). Both tests are free for DPHS students. While the 10th and 11th graders are testing throughout the morning, 12th graders will be participating in senior activities; 9th graders will be attending an assembly and participating in guidance counseling presentations.
  • All 10th grade students will be taking the Pre-ACT--a practice test that gives students an estimated ACT score in a low-stakes practice test. For more information on the Pre-ACT, click here.
  • All 11th grade students will be taking the PSAT which gives students specific feedback to better prepare for the SAT and makes students eligible for National Merit Scholar consideration. For more information on the PSAT, click here.
Also, a reminder that the College Board has partnered with the Khan Academy to offer free, robust SAT practice (including six practice tests) that can be personalized for students--all for free. For more information, visit: https://www.khanacademy.org/sat.
There is also a cool app that gives students instant feedback on their practice tests (immediately giving students their score and study tips). Click here for more info
Note: due to our unique schedule on 10/16, on the following day (10/17), students will attend all of their 6 classes. Please click here to see a copy of our bell schedules.
