Math Team

The 3 main math contests are below:

1. AMC (American Mathematics Competitions)

• Sign up by Sept. 24 with any DP Math teachers or Mrs. Harper in room H-26. You need to sign up in order to take the test.
• Date of the test: November 5, 2025
• Length of the test: 75 minutes
• Location: Cafeteria
• Time: 1st Period

2. CalMath (California Mathematics League)

• Dates of the test: 
  • High School Contest 1: Oct. 14th, 2025 
  • High School Contest 2: November 12th, 2025
  • High School Contest 3: December 9, 2025
  • High School Contest 4: January 13, 2026
  • High School Contest 5: February 10, 2026
  • High School Contest 6: March 10, 2026.
• Length of the test: 30 minutes
• Location: H-26. 
• Time: Lunch time. Please bring your iPad fully charged and come as soon as possible on the day of the test.

3. Westmont Mathematics Field day: 

• Date of the test: February 7, 2026
• Location: Westmont College
• We can have two teams: 9-10 and 11-12.

Math Club meets every Tuesday during lunch in H-26.
